About the Talk
My Kapa (Hawaiian bark cloth) journey is about reconnecting with my cultural heritage. The process dates back to when I first left my native Hawai'i in 1982 and began in ernest when I was researching family history and connecting to my paternal grandmother who is native Hawaiian.
I look forward to sharing my journey, Kapa work I have created along the way, and my latest Kapa where I introduce new applications and techniques.
